Day 5
05/11/2011
Shinjuku/ Shibuya/ Harajuku
This is the day where my fangirl-ism boost out like a mad women. This is the day where I feel like living in a city full with my fandomness.
Honestly speaking, before coming down here...the only place that I google-ed was just the main attraction of the city like, Shopping Malls, the popular streets and popular restaurants. Little did I expect that Shinjuku and Harajuku are full with Johnny's Entertainment goodies!
On this day, we had our second free Tokyo tour guide to take us out. She's an OL and working in the HR field, just like me! We met at Shibuya Station around 10am. We were kinda lost that day before meeting her because Shibuya station is quite big and there's too much level that I'm not sure which level are the 3rd of the 2nd. <---confused!
So I tried to call her using my mobile but I kept receiving this operator message asking me to setup the phone line before using it. It was in Japanese and make it worst, I won't be able to make any local calls if I don't setup my phone. So yes, I can't contact Mami-chan using my mobile. Luckily there's a public phone nearby so I decided to call her thru that.
Yup! That's my first public phone in Tokyo! LOL!
We met right after I made that call. She was so sweet to have waited for us who were incredibly late and still manage to find us in the hectic rush hour at the station. Her english is also very good. She even had a little Canadian slang. ;p
Our first stop, Hachiko Statue. A very popular spot in Shibuya station.
This statue's located just outside the station, next to the Shibuya crossing streets. I've watched the movie before and actually being able to see the real statue of Hachiko is just awesome. Sebenarnya nak amik gambar banyak2, tapi tourist ramai sangat and kawasan tu was a little crowded. So we weren't able to take many pictures of the statue.
So movin on, Mami-chan took us walk at the famous Centa Gai and to go there we need to cross the famous Shibuya crossing! Yes. Everything is famous in Shibuya! LOL! Selalu tengok Shibuya crossing ni in Jdorama then it was featured in Tokyo Drift, Resident Evil also and now...I've crossed it! Muahahahahhaha! Okay. Terlebih excited di situ. LOL!

Centa Gai.
Mami-chan took us to the biggest Tower Records I've ever seen and I was like Oh Em Gee! Because they have a special section only for Johnny's Entertainment's talent. Siap ada satu section khas untuk Arashi. I am in heaven! LOL! Sebenarnya excited sebab tak pernah lagi nampak Arashi section ever anywhere. So bila dah jumpa ni, excited saya memanglah akan melebihi dari landasan normal.
Arashi SP section for their 'Meikyu Love Song' single promo.
Close-up. *wink*
After that little flailing in Tower Records, we decided to head down to Harajuku. Knowing that I'm a huge fan of Johhny's Entertainment, Mami-chan gave me a heads up about the Harajuku streets. She said that I would find a lots of stores that sells unofficial idol goods along the streets. Hell yeah I was damn excited!
Harajuku Station
This is when my major flailing starts. Just less than 5 minutes of walking thru the Harajuku streets, I can already see my most favorite human being, Arashi, all the way along the streets. Sorry. I kept saying streets a lot in this post. Well, you can't blame me. The name itself is Harajuku Streets. Bare with me and deal with it. ;p
Harajuku Streets.
Yes. Along this roads. Tons of store sells unofficial idols goods. From posters to key chains, calender to stationary. I didn't take much pictures tho'. Was busy flailing that I forgot about the existent of a camera. Anyway, we entered 3 idol shops that day. Just for the thought of flailing. I didn't buy anything tho'. Why? Semua boleh dapat dekat internet. LOL! I'm such a bad fan girl. But what the hell...I'm no rich. Jadi wang yang ada hanya untuk barangan important sahaja. ;p
That major flailing had definitely hunger us. So Mami-chan took us to the famous Takoyaki stall in Harajuku and we had our lunch there. The takoyaki was huge! and superb! We bought two flavors. The one with Cheezy Pizza topping and the other one was Tamago topping. Umai yo honto ni! I wish the takoyaki here were made as the original one.
Kalau dekat Jepun, the topping yang banyak choice. But in Malaysia, isi nye pulak yang jadi choice. Topping sama. It's a damn freaking takoyaki. So isi mestilah tako je. Yang local tokayaki stall ni gatal tukar isi dalam dah kenapa? It won't be takoyaki anymore lah kalau dah tukar isi! Ngok! ;p
But whatever it is, this stall made the best Takoyaki ever! I had no complain. We ate takoyaki almost everyday while in Tokyo anyway. ;p
The best Takoyaki in Tokyo! ^^
During our lunch, we noticed a bunch of people (mostly girls) queuing from a spot. I dunno how to explain the spot. Cus it's like a mini park where people just sit around and smokes or eat or just sits to chit chats. And there's a man wearing store tags asking them to enter a place while queuing and I can also hear he said something like ,"Don't push" or "Please stay in the line". At first I thought there must be a popular food stall down the streets. But when Mami-chan said that the queue was actually a queue to enter a photo store, I was like wat the eff?
And when Mami-chan said, "We should go there after we finish our lunch because you like them right?" I was HUH?? Wait. What photo store is this again? Well dear readers, look at this next pics! ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓
It's the official Johnny's shop bebeh! (≧∇≦)/
Dang! I was super excited. Camera is forbidden in the shop so I couldn't really take any pictures of the shop. We had to queue before entering the shop. And so we did. Sebenarnya mula mula dah malas dah nak masuk. Tapi sebab alang2 dah sampai Jepun, masuk je lah. Bila lagi nak datang Jepun balik kan? The store was fill with fangirl. Mostly Arashic, Kat-Tun fans and JUMPS. Cus dekat picture section these 3 groups je yang penuh. But yang paling penuh, Arashi's. Sengal aku duk lama2 kat situ.
They were selling the Marching J photos at that time. And they gave us a list form and pencils to choose and tick the photos that we want, then claim and buy them at the counter located next door. And again, to access to the next door, everyone needs to queue up again. To be honest, we spend most of our time queuing while in the store. Dah macam hape! LOL
We decided to continue our trip to Shinjuku Gyoen later that day. We visits a park much similar to the one in Ueno where we visited with Ayako-chan. So we didn't really get excited as much as before.
Park in a city. Or issit a city in a park? huh?
We were already exhausted walking to the park. Ini kan lagi nak pusing satu park yang bapak lah gedabak nya! So we just walk around a bit then took a rest at the nearest resting stop in the park. While chit chatting, Mami-chan told us that the last time she volunteered for tokyo free guide, she took her tourist friend to Karaoke.
Upon hearing this, I was like, "Let's go karaoke!" ┌(^。^)┘♪└(^。^)┐♪┌(^。^)┘
And so we did. We sang for a good 1 hour and a half and I conquer most of the singing time. Yes. I love singing to that extend. ;p
That was our final activity and before you know it, it's already dark outside and the three of us are ready to go home.
We parted at the Shibuya station and me and Nanu headed back to Minami senju. As usual, we stopped at our favorite conbini and bought our favorite bento for dinner.
Done!
End of day 5!
